SAT English Enrichment
The SAT English Enrichment course is the perfect supplement to the Critical Reading and Writing workshops for the PSAT/SAT. In this course students will examine and discuss articles from a variety of areas for practice with critical reading, vocabulary, grammar, and essay writing.

English Personal Tutoring
Looking to enhance your English skills beyond the scope of the larger classroom environment? This course allows each student to work and learn at his or her own pace in a small, intimate environment with a highly qualified English instructor. Topics of study include critical reading, vocabulary, writing, and grammar, and are studied within our own curriculum and/or through homework help to assist each student's success in the classroom.

Writing can seem intimidating at all skill levels, but it doesn't have to be! Join one of our writing instructors, who will facilitate a workshop environment that focuses on each step of the writing process, from brainstorming ideas and peer editing the rough draft to polishing and editing the final draft.
Reading Club
Whether you already love to read or are simply looking for a way to improve your verbal skills, this intensive reading course will help you build competence in reading, a skill that is the foundation of all learning. Students will read one book every two weeks and participate in in-depth discussions led by the instructor that focus on the most important aspects of literature.
Readi@JEC Junior English Level I - III
The Readi@JEC Junior English Program targets students preparing to enter their 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade year. The program emphasizes academic English skills, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary, as well as mathematics. Students also begin to develop critical thinking and analysis skills. Teachers emphasize the process of discovery, learning, and understanding.
Junior Reading Club
Improve reading comprehension through hands-on activities that will bring books to life! The elementary book club will meet weekly to explore elements of literature and enrich books we'll read together.
